A quick mid week follow up to my recent post & some tips to take into consideration.

  • The liver is a fat burning organ. When you drink alcohol the liver stops performing this action so it can break down the alcohol in your body.

  • Healthy fats help you lose stubborn fat, so don’t be afraid to include them in all your meals.

  • Cortisol is the hormone that causes fat to store in the belly. Keep your stress levels down as much as possible. Strenuous workouts also cause cortisol levels to rise so take a vitamin C table post workout to clear the cortisol.

  • 80% is diet & 20% is exercise however some say its 70/30 either way your diet is key. As they say abs are made in the kitchen!

  • Keeping your insulin levels constant is key. This allows your body to remain in fat burning mode. High spikes means that the excess glucose is converted into fat. Aim to consume low GI foods.
