I signed up to a free sample of Suqqu from Emerald Street & received my free weekend pack in the post. The pack came to good use as I took it to Valencia for the weekend to try.

Suqqu was derived from the Japanese word meaning posture with attitude. The brand follows the Japanese tradition of skincare. I was sent a sample of their light solution, which consisted of light solution essence, light solution lotion, light solution fluid, olive oil cleanser & a moisture rich mask.
The first step was to use the olive oil cleanser, which you massage in & then rinse off. I found the oil cleansed my skin really well & was great for removing makeup.
The second step is the light solution essence, which is a pre-lotion serum. The texture is slightly thicker as expected. I rubbed a small amount between my palms & worked it into my skin. I then applied the light solution lotion; this is what helps pump the moisture back into the skin. You will need a cotton pad to apply this; I worked this into my skin in a circular motion inwards to out.
The final step is to use the light solution fluid. This is a solution that will seal it all in. Again you will need to use a cotton pad to apply the last layer.
The pack had 2 sachets of each solution, one mini bottle of the cleanser. To be honest the cleanser lasted me more than 4 days as I found I only needed a pea sized amount. The moisture rich mask was a small sachet, which I was able to use twice.
The moisture rich mask is slightly different; you apply it for a while then wipe it with a tissue then rub the rest into your skin.
The Coco Chick Review
So does Suqqu does what it says, I definitely found it did. My skin looked & felt cleaned. As well as this it definitely felt plump & full of hydration. All these elements together resulted in a glowing complexion. To add to this I had also cut out dairy from my diet 2 weeks prior so my skin was on it’s A game!
Currently, I swear by Environ as I’ve used it for years so I’m not quite ready to change to yet but if I was looking for a skincare regime or brand to use then opting for Suqqu would have been a definite yes!
It doesn’t come cheap but fabulous skin doesn’t come cheap either. I’m a big believer in investing in your skin & cosmetics; I feel good quality products will help maintain the skin you desire.
Price wise it’s expensive & your looking at approx. £300+ for the full-sized items. Both Selfridges & Harrods sell Suqqu.
