Luxury Ayurvedic Beauty Products - Forest Essentials

I discovered Forest Essentials a few years ago online & I love all the products they have to offer.

Forest Essentials is a luxury ayurvedic brand based in India. I always tend to make my purchases at Mumbai duty free or their store on Juhu Tara Road. For those of you who can’t get to India they do ship globally as well as have some of their range available on Amazon.

The first product I’ve tried is their sugar cane lip scrub. A great little scrub to get rid of dry skin & leaves a smooth finish.

My latest investment was a body polisher. The reason I bought it was due to the excess humidity & temperature levels from my recent exotic holidays, which had left my skin terribly dry.

Below is a picture of the Cane Sugar & Tamarind body polisher. As you can see it comes packed in a beautiful box of which when you open will have a cute wooden spoon, a bottle of herb infused oil and the scrub.

The oil has to be mixed in the scrub using the spoon; I personally mix a small amount at a time just before using it.

I found the scrub crystals were big & coarse which I thought was great, as I didn’t feel the need for a glove to scrub further. Best is to apply to damp skin. The scrub does smell lovely so you might turn a few heads in the changing rooms at the gym!

The oil in the scrub leaves your skin super soft & smooth. :)

The Coco Chick Review

A lip scrub is an essential for any girl especially before applying any good lippy. Like most Asian girls we all tend use the famous Mac Ruby Woo that comes in a matt finish. This is a great smooth base to have to apply such a colour.

Every girl needs body scrub. I personally love this scrub as it gets rids of the dryness & I don’t have to moisturise after using it, as my skin is so soft. For me this is a great time saver & one less thing to do.
